Football Recap: Fox Lane Comes Up Short

Fox Lane fell victim to Yorktown and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost to the Huskers on the road by a 18-0 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-0 back in March.

Fox Lane dropped their record down to 4-10-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Yorktown, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Fox Lane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yorktown, they will head out to take on Lakeland at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Huskers surely won't give up without a fight.
