Cedar Ridge won the last time they faced Izard County and things went their way on Monday too. The Timberwolves blew past the Cougars 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Timberwolves, who have now won eight games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Cedar Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Izard County, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cedar Ridge will take on Mammoth Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Izard County, they will square off against Sloan-Hendrix at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.38 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
