Soccer Recap: Dothan Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Montgomery Academy

On Tuesday, Dothan faced Montgomery Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Dothan Wolves came up short against the Montgomery Academy Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wolves of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Dothan and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Montgomery Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
