After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roxboro Community, East Wake Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Raleigh Charter Phoenix 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

East Wake Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Raleigh Charter to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 25-15.

Avery Schmidt was her usual excellent self, getting 16 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Emerson Morris was another key player, getting six kills, six digs, and one block.
