Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tristan Neumann and Timothy Baros Lead North Star to Victory

North Star had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Idaho City Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 62-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-34 back in December of 2024.

North Star was led to victory by Timothy Baros and Tristan Neumann. Baros went 6 for 9 on his way to 14 points and three steals, while Neumann dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. That's the most points Baros has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Logan Ellis, who posted eight points and ten boards.

North Star smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

North Star's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Idaho City, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
