Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Denver Christian + How To Watch

Denver Christian proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Thunder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Denver Christian who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 20-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-8.

Denver Christian had a senior duo take command as Bree Austin had 13 digs and five aces and Hadley Pellegrino had three digs and three aces. Pellegrino also set a new season-high mark in assists with 22.

Denver Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Denver Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
