Baseball Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Winfield Generals
Buffalo extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 13-11 in the process. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winfield Generals. The Bison were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Generals earlier this season, when they won 8-4.
Caiden Craig was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run. Britton Hudson was another key player, getting four hits from his four at bats.
As for Winfield, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games.
On Winfield's side, Jake Kimble spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits.

As for Winfield, they are taking a road trip to square off against Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
