Basketball Recap: Steilacoom Takes a Loss

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Steilacoom was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were dealt a 71-11 loss at the hands of the Eatonville Cruisers. The game marked the Sentinels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bailey Andersen was her usual excellent self, putting up 28 points along with eight assists and eight steals for Eatonville. Andersen's evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Alayna Meyer was another key player, posting 16 points and four steals.

Steilacoom has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Eatonville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Steilacoom didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-33 win against Washington on the 31st. Eatonville has also already played their next game, a 78-27 victory against Foss on the 29th.
