Indian Valley entered their tilt with Malvern on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Hornets 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Indian Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 27-25.

Reese Polen paced Indian Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Polen got some help from Brooklyn Abbuhl and her 24 assists.

Indian Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Malvern, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Valley will welcome Carrollton at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Malvern, they will be playing at home against Tuscarawas Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
