Cline Came Up Big in Magnolia's 13-9 Defeat
Magnolia was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Derricks Cline did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Cline as he picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Magnolia and nudges their season record down to 1-8. Cline and Magnolia will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saddleback at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Emiliano Ramirez Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Magnolia had to settle for second even though Emiliano Ramirez put up the best numbers he has all season. Ramirez threw for 157 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made five total tackles.
On the year, Ramirez has thrown those 1 touchdown while averaging 58.8 passing yards per game.

Savanna's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Jake Dorsi
Thanks in part to Jake Dorsi, Savanna said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak. Nobody could stop Dorsi on Friday as he rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.
Dorsi must have Century's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Dorsi rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Centurions duked it out back in October of 2023.
