Softball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood played against Rosewood on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Lakewood is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11-1. As for Rosewood, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Lakewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rosewood, they will take on North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
