Meanwhile, Hialeah Educational Academy beat Brito 7-3 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Biggie.

Hialeah Educational Academy got a great performance from JADEN LAO as he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts LAO has posted since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on BRIAN BOLANOS, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of BRYAN GONZALEZ, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Hialeah Educational Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brito only posted a batting average of .240.

Monsignor Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Monsignor Pace has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game.
