Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dixie). They blew past Non Varsity Opponent 14-2 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Flyers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Morgan Staheli was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
