While Overton put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Cushing. The Overton Mustangs took their match with ease, bagging a 52-0 victory over the Cushing Bearkats. The matchup marked the Mustangs' most dominant win of the season.
It was another big night for Bryce Still, who threw for 212 yards and six touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Bobbitt, who picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Overton wouldn't let Cushing keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Overton can thank Eathen Oates and Gunnar Whitfield for forcing both of them. Oates has been hot , having also posted six or more total tackles the last six times he's played.
Overton pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Cushing, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
