Softball Game Preview: Charlotte Orioles vs. Bath Fighting Bees

The Charlotte Orioles will head out to take on the Bath Fighting Bees at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlotte comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Charlotte's offense. They came up short against Lansing Catholic on Tuesday, falling 18-0.

Charlotte saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Ruttman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Ruttman's first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bath). They blew past Montabella 11-1 on Saturday. Considering the Fighting Bees' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bath, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
