Softball Recap: Bolton Takes a Loss

The Bolton Bulldogs came up short against the Edwin O. Smith Panthers on Thursday, falling 16-7. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emma Hoffman made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Sarah Mattei was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Bolton's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Edwin O. Smith, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Bolton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Windham on the 21st. Edwin O. Smith does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
