Volleyball Game Preview: Campus International Trailblazers vs. Bard Early College Raptors

Campus International is 0-4 against Bard Early College since March of 2023 but things could change on Friday. The Trailblazers will square off against the Raptors at 5:00 p.m.

Campus International is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on April 7th. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Tech.

Campus International started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-14, 25-19, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Bard Early College strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Bedford.

Bard Early College not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bedford between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

Bard Early College pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Campus International, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Campus International couldn't quite get it done against Bard Early College when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Trailblazers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
