Baseball Recap: Roanoke Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Roanoke Valley Christian fell victim to Christian Heritage Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The loss continues a trend for the EAGLES in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Roanoke Valley Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Bowman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Roanoke Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Christian Heritage Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Roanoke Valley Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Christian Heritage Academy will challenge rival Faith Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
