Basketball Recap: East Ridge Victorious

East Ridge proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 34) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Mounds View Mustangs 72-70. That's more bragging rights for the Raptors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win got East Ridge back to even at 2-2. As for Mounds View, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

East Ridge will be home for the holidays to greet Cretin-Derham Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mounds View, they will head out to face off against New Richmond at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. New Richmond knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Mounds View likes a good challenge.
