Basketball Recap: Edgar Victorious

Edgar posted their closest win since January 29, 2024 on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Loyal Greyhounds 37-34. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 51-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

Edgar has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season. As for Loyal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Edgar will square off against Marathon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Loyal has already played their next contest, a 42-29 defeat against Greenwood on the 14th.
