Volleyball Recap: Ranchview Takes a Loss

Ranchview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Hills Prep. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Hills Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, 25-13.

Myah Shelly paced Ranchview's offense, picking up seven kills. Shelly got some help from Summer Huddleston and her 17 assists. Shelly was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Ranchview's loss dropped their record down to 2-16-2. As for North Hills Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ranchview and North Hills Prep will both be playing Hampton Prep the next time they take the court. North Hills Prep will head out to face Hampton Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
