Softball Game Preview: Coral Park Rams vs. Southwest Eagles

Coral Park is 0-5 against Southwest since February of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Coral Park Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Southwest Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Coral Park has given up an average of 12.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Coral Park came up short against TERRA Environmental on Wednesday, falling 13-3.

Meanwhile, Southwest came up short against Hialeah-Miami Lakes on Wednesday and fell 15-10. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sannaya Pardey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Five bases. while going 3-for-4. Mia Acosta was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Southwest now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Coral Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coral Park suffered a grim 25-8 defeat to Southwest when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Coral Park avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
