Mesa Vista put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Espanola Valley Sundevils 55-41. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 52-49 win the Sundevils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Mesa Vista's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Espanola Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Mesa Vista won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bosque at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Espanola Valley, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Hobbs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Sundevils will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
