Softball Recap: Worland Comes Up Short

Worland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Thunder Basin Bolts, falling 16-2.

Worland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Gallinger, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Gallinger a new career-high. Another was Ava Smith, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Worland's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Thunder Basin, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

While Worland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
