Football Recap: Illinois C Takes a Loss

Illinois C played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Osceola Grace Eagles Oscee and fell 47-12. The Crusaders have struggled against the Oscee recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Although Illinois C took the loss, they still got scores from Nolan Langston and Jacob Smith.

Illinois C's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Osceola Grace Eagles, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Illinois C will welcome Calumet Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Osceola Grace Eagles, they will head out on the road to face off against Monroe Central at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
