Recap: Northeast Metro RVT Knights vs. Mystic Valley Regional Eagles

Northeast Metro RVT had just enough and edged Mystic Valley Regional out 67-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Northeast Metro RVT found their leader in underclassman Esien Clarke, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that Clarke pulled down eight or more rebounds. Chris Zullo was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
The win got Northeast Metro RVT back to even at 3-3. As for Mystic Valley Regional, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast Metro RVT will take on Swampscott at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mystic Valley Regional, they will be playing at home against Minuteman Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (Minuteman Regional is ranked 104th, while Mystic Valley Regional is ranked 88th).
