Volleyball Recap: Ottawa Takes a Loss

Ottawa lost against Holton back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cyclones fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Becca Meyer paced Ottawa's offense, picking up six kills. Meyer got some help from Leah Askins-Dieterich and her 18 assists. Meyer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Ottawa has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Holton, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Ottawa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Silver Lake on the 20th. As for Holton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Jefferson West on the 20th.
