            Volleyball Recap: Alameda Pirates vs. Denver Waldorf Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            Alameda lost against Denver Waldorf back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. Alameda fell  3-1 to Denver Waldorf. The  match marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 24-26,  25-17.
Alameda's offense was headlined by  Efrain Huerta and  Colin Nguyen, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from  Damien Ransdell and his ten assists.  Eduardo Cantillo controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
  Avery Mondon was the offensive standout of the  game as he  had 14  digs and two  aces.
Alameda is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-3. As for Denver Waldorf, the  win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.
 Alameda wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-2  loss against Aurora West College Prep Academy on the 31st. As for Denver Waldorf, they have also  already played their next contest,  a  3-0  victory against Mile High Academy on the 31st.
