Volleyball Game Preview: Verndale Pirates vs. Menahga Braves

The Verndale Pirates will head out on the road to take on the Menahga Braves at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Menahga took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Verndale, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Verndale turned things around against Laporte on Monday. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Menahga unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Nevis by a score of 3-2.

Menahga's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-2. As for Verndale, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Verndale came up short against Menahga in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
