Jacksonville hasn't lost a match since September 2nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Springfield Southeast Spartans an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Jacksonville, who have now won ten contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Springfield Southeast from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Joe Reif led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Jacksonville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 63 goals over those 12 matchups. As for Springfield Southeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 3-13-2 record this season.

Jacksonville will host Rochester at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springfield Southeast, they will head out on the road to face off against Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
