Elko kept a clean sheet against Churchill County on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Greenwave with a sharp 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for Elko, who have now won four contests by four goals or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Elko's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Churchill County, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8-1.
