Volleyball Recap: Christian Home Educators Fellowship Comes Up Short

If Christian Home Educators Fellowship was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of John Paul the Great Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day Eagles on Friday. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bishop Noland Episcopal Day scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 25-17.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Christian Home Educators Fellowship will take on rival Acadiana Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is set to square off against their familiar foe Shreveport HomeSchool Sports at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
