             Litchfield had to endure  a  16-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the North Greene Spartans, posting  a  49-21 victory. The Purple Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Litchfield can attribute much of their success to  Daphney Hartel, who  posted seven points along with five  steals.  Elise Walch was another key player,  posting five points along with six  assists and five  rebounds.
 Litchfield was working as a unit and  finished the game with 15  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Litchfield's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for North Greene,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Litchfield will welcome Williamsville  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Litchfield is facing Williamsville at the right time seeing as Williamsville is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for North Greene, they and Lincolnwood are set to duel  on Monday. North Greene will also cruise into their next  match with the timing on their side: Lincolnwood will have lost four straight heading into Monday's  game.
