Football Game Recap: Coon Rapids-Bayard vs. Audubon

Audubon were successful in their last outing against Coon Rapids-Bayard, and they didn't afford Coon Rapids-Bayard any payback this time around. Audubon took their match against Coon Rapids-Bayard on Friday by a conclusive 63-33 score. Followers of Audubon probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Audubon's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 42 first-half points. Coon Rapids-Bayard countered with 13 points, leaving the score at 42-13 going into the half. The offense for Audubon continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 21 points to put the game away. The victory bumped their record up to 4-2. The loss dropped Coon Rapids-Bayard back to even at 3-3.

Next week Audubon take on West Harrison at 7:00 PM. Audubon are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while West Harrison are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, they will face off against Glidden-Ralston.
