Volleyball Recap: Eau Claire Memorial Takes a Loss

Eau Claire Memorial saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Pulaski Red Raiders by a score of 2-1.

Kaylee Gunderson paced Eau Claire Memorial's offense, picking up ten kills. Gunderson got some help from Ella Staupe and her 12 assists. Gunderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Brin Lemense was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs and one assist.

Eau Claire Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Pulaski, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-13.

Coming up, Eau Claire Memorial will be playing in front of their home fans against Rice Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pulaski, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against De Pere on the 30th.
