Basketball Recap: Mcfarland's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

McFarland waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Sauk Prairie Eagles by a score of 69-61. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-52 back in December of 2024.

McFarland has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Sauk Prairie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

McFarland will face off against Baraboo at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. McFarland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Baraboo likes a good challenge. As for Sauk Prairie, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mount Horeb at 5:45 p.m. Mount Horeb will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Sauk Prairie surely won't give up without a fight.
