Volleyball Recap: Franklin Beats Sharon for Their Sixth Straight Win

Franklin entered their tilt with Sharon on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Franklin was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-12.

Makayla Kuykendall paced Franklin's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kuykendall got some help from Phoebe O'Connor and her 25 assists. Kuykendall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Sharon, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin is set to square off against their familiar foe Mansfield at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sharon will face off against rival North Attleborough at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
