Basketball Preview: Brattleboro Bears vs. Bellows Falls Terriers
Brattleboro has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Bellows Falls Terriers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Brattleboro focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Brattleboro's game was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Anthony.
Johnathon Haskins put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keagan Systo, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Bellows Falls also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to the Patriots by a score of 62-50. Bellows Falls has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Brattleboro's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Bellows Falls, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
