Lyon County blew Christian County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Christian County got their revenge. Lyon County fell just short of Christian County by a score of 5-3. The Lyons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colonels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Brady Belt was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run. He also scored a run, marking his first of the season.
