Volleyball Game Preview: Shasta Wolves vs. Oroville Tigers

The Shasta Wolves will face off against the Oroville Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Shasta sitting on seven straight victories and Oroville on four.

On Monday, Shasta got the win against Chico by a conclusive 3-0.

Shasta was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Oroville made easy work of Enterprise on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Oroville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-22.

Oroville pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Shasta, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Everything went Shasta's way against Oroville when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Shasta made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
