Football Recap: Lightridge Victorious + How To Watch

Lightridge's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Riverside Ram a 21-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Bolts in their matchups with the Ram: they've now won three in a row.

Jeremiah Pettiford was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 93 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 57 receiving yards. He is becoming a predictor of Lightridge's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Lightridge now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Riverside, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
