The Vista PEAK Prep Bison will face off against the Greeley Central Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Vista PEAK Prep took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 86-53 win over D'Evelyn. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Vista PEAK Prep.
Kyree Polk was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alante Monroe-elazier, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Greeley Central strolled past Mountain View with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 50-33.
Greeley Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Abdirahman Dahir led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Martinez, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals.
Vista PEAK Prep's win lifted them to 2-0 while D'Evelyn's loss dropped them down to 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Vista PEAK Prep against Greeley Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 63-23 victory.
