Volleyball Recap: Ridge Community Find Success

Ridge Community won the last time they faced Lakeland and things went their way on Monday too. The Bolts came out on top against the Dreadnaughts by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bolts.

Ridge Community had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-20, 25-11, 25-22.

Ridge Community's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Lakeland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Ridge Community will face off against Dr. Phillips at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeland, they will square off against Roosevelt Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dreadnaughts are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
