Basketball Recap: Tri-County North's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brookville, Tri-County North was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Miami Valley Rams 57-55. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Tri-County North found their leader in sophomore Corbin Flory, who went 8 for 16 en route to 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Fannin, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points and eight boards.

Tri-County North smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Tri-County North's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Miami Valley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Tri-County North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-48 victory against Mississinawa Valley on the 31st. Miami Valley has also already played their next game, a 40-39 win against Middletown Christian on the 31st.
