Volleyball Recap: Bethlehem Central Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Bethlehem Central won the last time they faced Mekeel Christian Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

Mekeel Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bria Salvo, who had three digs and two aces. Macie Dell was another key player, getting four digs and two blocks.

Bethlehem Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-2 record this season. As for Mekeel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bethlehem Central will take on Academy of the Holy Names at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mekeel Christian Academy, they will head out to challenge Cobleskill-Richmondville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
