Basketball Game Preview: Washington Pam Pack vs. Ayden - Grifton Chargers

The Washington Pam Pack will square off against the Ayden - Grifton Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Washington is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against SouthWest Edgecombe on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Washington had to suffer through a 75-10 loss at the hands of SouthWest Edgecombe. The Pam Pack were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-5.

Meanwhile, Ayden - Grifton can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against North Lenoir by a score of 38-28.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Ayden - Grifton, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13.

Washington couldn't quite finish off Ayden - Grifton when the teams last played back in February of 2024 and fell 47-45. Can Washington avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
