Volleyball Recap: Germantown Academy Patriots vs. Spring-Ford Rams
The Germantown Academy Patriots didn't have quite enough to beat the Spring-Ford Rams on Wednesday and fell 3-2. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 25-17 in the first set.
Germantown Academy started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-8.
Pilar Presson paced Germantown Academy's offense, picking up 20 kills. Presson got some help from Nicole Ward and her 35 assists. Presson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
