Basketball Recap: Brentwood Beats Windsor Academy for Their Third Straight Victory

Brentwood had won two straight games and Cadence English did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Brentwood War Eagles really took it to the Windsor Academy Knights for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-18 victory thanks in part to English, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 11 games she's played.

Carrie Wright also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steals of the season. What's more, she also racked up three steals, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.

Brentwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Windsor Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Brentwood will take on Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brentwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Trinity Christian likes a good challenge. Windsor Academy has already played their next game (against Gatewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
