Volleyball Recap: Frontier Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Frontier had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Fredonia Hillbillies by a score of 3-2.

While Frontier ultimately came up short, they really made Fredonia work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-22, 17-25, 23-25, 15-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier will face off against West Seneca West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Falcons their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Fredonia, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on September 8.
