Softball Game Preview: Northeastern Eagles vs. Currituck County Knights

Northeastern hasn't had much luck against Currituck County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Northeastern Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Currituck County Knights at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Northeastern is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 16-1 to Gates County on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Meanwhile, Currituck County suffered their biggest loss since March 19, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against Northside - Pinetown, falling 10-2.
